It is apparent that the charitable sector in North America will continue to undergo a significant transition of executive leadership over the next decade. In large part this is being driven by demographic shifts but, in general, the charitable sector does not have the “ready” leadership talent to sustain itself through the transition.

A key solution will be Interim Executive Leadership to provide support to organizations and their existing executive leaders and Boards. While often viewed as a “crisis” solution, that does not need to be the case. Experienced interim executive talent provide for a smooth leadership transition and additionally provide services in several areas, including strategic and succession planning, board governance, philanthropy counsel, and other services.

In conjunction with Interim Executive Leadership are two other related considerations: executive and leadership coaching and the identification, assessment, and development of high potential leadership talent already inside your organization.

Learning Objectives:

The value and integration of:

  1. Interim Executive Leadership
  2. Leadership Coaching
  3. Identification of High Potential Leadership
