Improve, Innovate or Disrupt? Embracing Systematic Change

Shifting demographics are sparking disruptive innovation and transforming philanthropy. Taking a completely radical, non-traditional approach to fundraising can leverage exponential improvements in bottom line results, donor engagement and prospect flow. Imagine doubling - or possibly even tripling - the money you raise using a more rigorous approach focused on major gifts and built on Lean Six Sigma performance improvement principles.

Lean Six Sigma combines two well-accepted business-world methods of improving organizational performance by reducing waste, improving quality, and accelerating process flow. The concept emphasizes front-line staff input and provides a framework for culture change. More than a toolbox for improvements, Lean Six Sigma provides a way of thinking about processes that enables organizations to find ways achieve more in less time. Originally developed as a means of increasing output and quality in factory settings, Lean Six Sigma is today as applicable in the not-for-profit word as in business.

Learning Outcomes:

  • How applying Lean Six Sigma principles can help you
  • Re-balance and reorganize your operations and processes to maximize fundraising results
  • Ensure all decisions are data-driven and focused on continuous improvement
  • Improve traditional fundraising methods to significantly increase production
  • Disrupt traditional fundraising methods to double or triple production
