Conference Tracks

Bachelor’s Track

The Bachelor’s Track is geared specifically for those who are newer to fundraising with up to 5 years of experience. These sessions are designed to offer a comprehensive overview of fundraising to you or your staff who want to master the fundamentals of our profession. Bachelor’s is an excellent introduction to the many facets of fundraising, from special events and annual giving programs, to major gift fundraising and corporate sponsorship.

Come and learn the basics from the experts. This year’s Bachelor’s faculty includes Tom Ahern, Simone Joyaux, David Love, Paul Marcus, Rob Peacock, Geoffrey Peters, and Steve Thomas.

Master’s Track

The Masters Track provides a variety of sessions in many areas of interest for fundraising professionals. Master’s sessions are open to all, but are typically geared to fundraisers with 5 to 10 years of experience. Participants can choose to learn more about their area of expertise, or broaden their horizons in areas that are different from what they do every day. The Master’s Track offers something for everyone! Sign up and hear Tony Elischer on brandraising or Marnie Spears on philanthropic trends; discuss how to integrate new media into your program with Daryl Upsall; conduct a live web review with Ted Hart; or learn how to engage your board to achieve success with Terry Axelrod. These are just a few of the more than 40 Master’s sessions you can choose from at Congress 2007.

Ph.D. Track

The Ph.D. Track is specifically for seasoned fundraisers with 10+ years of experience and key volunteers. Many session sizes are limited to create an environment for in-depth discussion and interaction between participants and presenters. Join your peers and challenge yourself to think about issues and opportunities in new and exciting ways. This is the track for those looking for the “a-ha” moment, and our presenters are just the group of opinion leaders to inspire you to get there!

This year’s renowned Ph.D. faculty includes Roger Davies, Dianne Lister, Stephen Pidgeon, Dr. Paul Pribbenow and Daryl Upsall. Congress 2007 is also excited to offer Ph.D. delegates an intensive all-day session on leadership with Bernard Ross.
