Frances Lankin

Frances Lankin has dedicated her life to community and social issues, and has been President and Chief Executive Officer of United Way of Greater Toronto since 2001. Recently, she chaired a federal government commissioned Blue Ribbon Panel, which made recommendations for improving how Ottawa distributes grants and contributions to charities and nonprofits. Before joining the United Way as CEO, Frances was elected to public office in 1990 and served as MPP for 11 years, including roles as Minister of Government Services, Chair of the Management Board, Minister of Health, and Minister of Economic Development and Trade.
