In preparation for a major comprehensive campaign, “Engaging The World,” Queen’s is seeking dynamic fund development staff to join in helping to translate this vision into reality.
Senior Development Fundraising Professionals
Reporting to the Director of Major Gifts and working with key faculty leadership, the Senior Fundraising Professionals will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high potential major gift accounts within their assigned faculty. Working in collaboration with the central development office and the faculty leadership, you will motivate and inspire a team approach to major gift fundraising. A dynamic and accomplished relationship builder, you are either a major gift fundraising professional or you are in a sales/account management role selling customer solutions with a tier one organization in the private sector. You have experience meeting performance targets, managing a portfolio of prospective donors and partners and designing and implementing appropriate cultivation and solicitation strategies. Above all, you are an excellent communicator and negotiator, you enjoy all aspects of building relationships toward fund development, including: initial assessments, prospecting, proposal presentations, and most importantly – working with donors to fulfill their philanthropic dreams and with corporations toward meeting their community investment interests. Candidates can be located in Kingston or Toronto.
