Position Senior Advancement Services Officer

Status 100% full-time, permanent (subject to budget approval)

Salary Scale $4,775.45 - $5,554.94 per month (Staff pay group 12)

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Senior Advancement Services Officer is responsible for setting up the Advancement Services area for UCFV and for all Advancement Service activities of the Development and Alumni Relations Offices.

  • Manages Raiser’s Edge database system.
  • Develops, implements and oversees adherence to procedures for accurate and consistent information management on the database
  • Takes a proactive approach to growing the Foundation’s database.
  • Develops, implements and maintains activity tracking systems for Alumni Relations and Development Offices
  • Liaises with Admissions & Records to receive and import student records
  • Ensures data integrity, accuracy, and currency within the database.
  • Manages deployment and roll-out of new database applications.
  • Oversees the maintenance of NetCommunity, a web-based networking site
  • Supports the data needs of all Development and Alumni Relations staff
  • Supports the Development Offices’ prospect research initiative
  • Supports the Development Office’s Information System needs

About you:

  • Extensive knowledge of the Raiser’s Edge system and preferably the Blackbaud suite of products (at a minimum Raiser’s Edge level one and two certification)
  • Bachelor’s degree with preference in business or technology
  • Minimum five years of non-profit experience
  • Experience with Crystal Reports
  • Experience working with additional customer/donor management systems
  • Experience working in all stages of the software development cycle
  • Product management experience
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Ability to function as an effective team member while demonstrating initiative
  • Attention to detail and a respect for data integrity.
