Ms. Julie Marsh, M.A.

Julie Marsh has been a Major Gift Development Officer with the North York General Hospital Foundation for two years. Now, as a Major Gift Development Officer and responsible for the Physician Division of the Campaign, she has raised their participation rate from 35% to 55%. While working fulltime, Julie completed a Master's Degree in Philanthropy and Development at St. Mary's University, Minnesota. A volunteer with the Junior League of Toronto and the AHP Julie is committed to making a difference and facilitating change in the profession of fundraising.
This award was created last year by the AFP Greater Toronto Chapter to recognize an outstanding new fundraising professional. The award is designed to salute individuals who have displayed exceptional talent and demonstrated outstanding achievement as they set out on a career as a fundraising professional. It is hoped the award will encourage the recipients and their professional colleagues to continue striving for excellence as their careers develop
