On behalf of the AFP Greater Toronto Chapter Board of Directors and our members – more than 1,000 professional fundraisers from the Toronto area – welcome to our 10th Annual Philanthropy Awards celebration.
The people we are here to honour today represent the leaders in our community who so generously contribute, motivate, and influence in order to make our community stronger and more vibrant. Their inspiration truly makes Toronto and our broader community a better place for us all.
The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) represents more than 25,000 members internationally. Our commitment to ethical and effective fundraising is only possible with the support of dedicated volunteers and generous supporters. On this special occasion, we acknowledge our outstanding award recipients – past and present – and we pay special tribute to all of our volunteers, supporters and professional colleagues for their commitment and dedication.
