A message from the Honourary patron

The Honourable
Henry N.R. Jackman
Honourary Patron of the
Philanthropy Awards
As Honourary Patron of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Toronto Chapter Philanthropy Awards, and the first recipient of the Outstanding Philanthropist Award in 1995, I am proud to be part of the 10th Anniversary Awards Luncheon.
Over the past decade, I have watched the Philanthropy Awards grow into one of the premiere events in the not-for-profit world. I am honoured to be associated with this esteemed group of Award Recipients.
As we recognize today’s Award Recipients, let us remember the efforts of all those who contribute their time, talent and resources for the betterment of our communities. It is important to publicly acknowledge the extraordinary work of the philanthropists, volunteers and fundraising professionals who have advanced this sector. Their leadership sets a powerful example and paves the way for future generations to make a difference in the lives of others.
I offer my heartfelt congratulations to all the 2004 Awards Recipients, wishing them continued success in all their philanthropic endeavours.
