AFP continues to educate Parliament, the public and the media about Bill C-470 and its potential impact on charitable organizations. AFP’s advocacy efforts on this issue complement our coordinated work with a coalition including Imagine Canada and several other organizations representing a broad spectrum of the charitable sector who also are actively engaging Parliament regarding Bill C-470.

To bolster our efforts, AFP is submitting the following article to CharityVillage.com this week. In addition, AFP is on the cusp of unveiling an internet-based grassroots tool provided by Advocacy Online that will allow our members to contact and educate their Members of Parliament and Senators about Bill C-470 with the mere push of a button. Look for an announcement about this new resource very soon!
