We invite you to attend the 2008 Summit, Advancing the Sector: An Action Plan. AFP, Imagine Canada and Volunteer Canada are jointly hosting the Summit. This partnership of three major forces in the nonprofit community is a unique opportunity to bring together leaders from across our sector to identify and develop creative approaches to joint issues around standards, finance, public policy and volunteerism.
The Summit will focus on the best ways for the nonprofit community to use our powerful voice to secure brighter futures for people across the country and in our communities. An action oriented event, the goal is to develop a deliberate strategy that brings together our individual and organizational expertise to create a common action plan. The plan and accompanying strategies will provide common elements for executing and achieving outcomes for a shared success.
The Summit, Advancing the Sector: An Action Plan is your opportunity to roll up your sleeves and join your colleagues in defining this strategy to increase our influence, resources and potential impact on communities.
