Due to the continued growth of our planned giving program, we are currently seeking a highly motivated, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our growing Planned Giving team as Manager, Planned Gifts, based in Toronto. You will directly contribute to the Canadian Red Cross’ fund raising strategy by managing a portfolio of current and prospective supporters, and securing planned gift commitments. This position is vital to achieving our ambitious growth objectives to ensure the future of our humanitarian work.
Your ability to communicate and build productive relationships with supporters will be second to none. Your portfolio of prospects will be constantly refreshed with leads from our legacy direct marketing program, allowing you to focus on the work you love - engaging with qualified prospects and inspiring them to create a legacy with the Red Cross.
You have a high standard for donor stewardship and donor care principles. You are a champion of planned giving with Red Cross colleagues, and a strong representative of professional fund raising in the community.
You will be part of our national multi-disciplinary Philanthropy team working within a collaborative culture. Work hours are generally carried out from 8:30am-4:30pm with flexibility. It may be necessary to work evenings or weekends for travel, meetings, or during disaster appeals. The majority of the work is performed in an office environment requiring hours in front of a computer screen, use of keyboard, and visual work.
Travel is a regular part of the job. Current driver’s license and use of a car is required. This position requires a successful Criminal Record Check.
