Pathways to Education Canada is a national charitable organization striving to close Canada’s achievement gap and build a ‘Graduation Nation’ where all youth, regardless of their background or situation, are able to graduate from high school and achieve their full potential.  A true example of social innovation, the Pathways Program provides academic, social, financial and one-on-one supports to youth living in low-income communities.  The ground-breaking results of Pathways’ unique Program have garnered international attention and awards for doubling high school graduation rates, increasing post-secondary enrolment by up to 300 percent and achieving a 24:1 social return on investment.  Celebrating over 15 years of programming in Canada, the Pathways Program is currently offered in 20 communities across Canada with plans for continued expansion.

Reporting to the Vice President & Chief Development Officer, the Director, Corporate Development is responsible for matching the needs and interests of corporate partners with Pathways’ priorities and goals.  The Director secures and stewards corporate partnerships by executing innovative strategies aimed at securing revenue from corporate partners across the country.  The Director will lead a team of fundraisers and volunteers in developing and growing a pipeline of major gift corporate prospects and donors.

The ideal candidate brings proven success in fundraising or a related area such as corporate social responsibility, cause marketing or stewardship. As a senior leader, you are a partnership-builder who has developed and executed innovative strategies aimed at securing revenue from corporate partners across the country.  You are motivated by achieving targets and making a positive social impact, and have demonstrated this through success in securing and stewarding corporate partnerships at the six-figure and above level. You are an engaging leader, known for supporting colleagues to achieve ambitious targets, and inspiring collaboration amongst diverse stakeholders.
