This position is full-time, 35 hours per week. Location: Aurora, Ontario
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will provide leadership, strategic direction, management and coordination for all CHATS fundraising, marketing and communications. Fundraising activities includes major gifts, individual, corporate and foundation giving, special events and direct mail.
Expected outcomes for this position include:
▪ A financial development strategy and implementation of a plan to support CHATS’ services.
▪ Development and management of a marketing and communications strategy that effectively markets CHATS, educates and informs stakeholders and maximizes fundraising efforts.
As a recognized leader in previous roles, you have achieved aggressive fundraising targets in the above areas. You are strategic, creative, organized and results driven.
Key qualifications include: post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or programs that focus on Fundraising, Development and/or Advancement (CRFE/ABC designation preferred), with a strong mix of both fundraising and marketing/communications skills in a leadership role. Ideally you have 10 years’ experience in the field and a successful record of identifying, cultivating and soliciting individual donors, corporations and foundations. You have demonstrated results in organizing and implementing fundraising activities and have the ability to develop effective partnerships with internal and external constituencies. You have excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. You also have a strong proposal or grant writing experience. Knowledge of Raisers’ Edge is an asset. A valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required for this position.
