We are currently recruiting for a Direct Marketing Planner (Annual Giving) to work with Advancement-Development for this exciting opportunity. 

Are you a Marketing professional with experience in fundraising? Do you possess at least 3 years of experience in fundraising, writing and data analysis? Do you possess superior communication skills including verbal and written proficiency as well as exceptional customer service skills? Do you possess highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to maintain tact, diplomacy and discretion? Are you able to successfully coordinate projects as well as analyze and interpret fundraising data? If so, keep reading!

This position exists for three primary reasons: To maximize the financial support of alumni and other supporters; To maximize the alumni participation; To facilitate the identification of major gift and planned giving prospects.

In this role, you will actively participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Division’s Annual Giving programs, whose purpose is to build a long-term base of support for the University, while ensuring that programs and activities are aligned with Advancement’s efforts in the areas of major gifts, planned giving, stewardship, alumni and donor relations, and information management. Programs include the Annual Fund, Memorial/Honorary Giving, Special Solicitations, Matching Gifts, and other new initiatives.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:

At least a College Diploma in fundraising, business, humanities, marketing, planning, journalism, or similar fields. University degree is an asset, York University degree is an asset. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered to include completion of high school plus 2 years practical related experience in addition to the minimum years of work experience required. In addition, the successful incumbent will possess three years of work experience to include direct response fundraising, writing and data analysis.
