We are currently recruiting for an Advancement & Alumni Coordinator to work with Advancement - Development for this exciting contract opportunity. 

Are you a fundraising professional with leadership skills in planning and coordinating events? Do you have experience in an Advancement Office or fundraising organization executing administrative/workflow coordination duties? Do you possess superior customer service attributes including highly developed interpersonal and communication skills? Do you possess excellent project management, time management, public speaking and presentation skills? In this role, you will support the Director of Development, Faculty of LA&PS to increase support and engagement for LA&PS from its constituencies which is essential to the reputation, philanthropic investment, student recruitment and graduate employment placement rates.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:

A University degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations and/or Communications is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Equivalent education and experience includes college diploma in Marketing and/or Communications, Fundraising or Journalism, Public Relations plus 1 year practical related experience or four years recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at York University performing the same or similar tasks. This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements. In addition, the successful incumbent will possess 2 years of experience in an Advancement Office or fundraising organization in administration and/or workflow/event coordination experience.
