Reporting to the CEO, the Manager, Foundation provides leadership and strategic expertise for all fundraising initiatives of the Geneva for Autism Foundation.
The main accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:
•Lead the Foundation’s Corporate and Major Gifts fundraising
•Cultivate and maintain key relationships for giving
•Identify and develop RFPs and Grant applications
•Oversee Fundraising events – both internal and third party
•Work with the Foundation’s Board of Directors to leverage their contacts and collaborate on strategic fundraising strategies
•Assists with Symposium planning and execution as needed
•Utilize Raiser’s Edge database to extract and analyze key metrics.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and self-motivated business-oriented individual, with an entrepreneurial approach to fundraising. S/he will have outstanding leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. S/he will be self-motivated, able to work well under pressure and possess sound judgement.
Requirements to be considered for the role:
•5 years’ demonstrated experience in successfully identifying, cultivating and securing public and private funds
•Results-driven individual with creative and innovative approaches to fundraising
•Excellent research and analytical skills
•Concise and effective writing skills
•Engaging and motivational public speaker
•Experience with Raiser’s Edge an asset
•Commitment to supporting individuals with Autism
•Professional demeanor with the ability to interact assertively while maintaining tact
•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
•Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
•Experience managing budgets and goal setting is highly desirable
•Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
•Bilingualism is an asset.
