Job Description

Corporate and Community Engagement Officer

Are your networking skills top notch?
Can you think on your feet? Are you creative?
Do you want to make a difference in your community?

If you're interested in a career that combines the best in communication, administration, sales and that warm fuzzy feeling of giving back then this is your lucky day.

Lakeridge Health Foundation has an immediate opening for a Corporate and Community Engagement Officer to join our passionate and highly successful development team to help raise funds for Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Whitby hospitals. Lakeridge Health Foundation is proudly the first charity in Durham Region to receive prestigious accreditation by Imagine Canada and we are equally thrilled to share that we are a recipient of Canada's 2017 Nonprofit Employer of Choice Awards!

In this position, you'll report to the Manager, Community Engagement and play an important role in our sponsorship, cause-marketing, Launchpad young leaders and major gift programs.

Your attention to detail, organizational skills and administrative prowess will make you a stand-out team member in the office. Equally important, excellent social and communications skills are a must for your time out in the community where you’ll meet and work with some of Durham Region’s incredible residents and business owners.

This job requires an outgoing, creative and passionate hard worker, someone who has a flair for networking and relationship building, and a zest for engaging people in all stages and ages.

If you have five or more years’ experience in a similar role and know you want to help advance health care in Durham Region, we want to hear from you. Past experience in fundraising, event management, sales and using Raiser's Edge is a bonus.

Lakeridge Health Foundation is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all qualified applicants, regardless of gender, race, age, sexuality, or disability.
