Job Description

Reports to: Senior Director, Campaign Operations

Direct Reports: Yes


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative and integrated event strategies with the goal of fundraising, growing the donor base and cultivating current donors
  • Demonstrate ability to drive strategic decisions, processes and changes
  • Develop ideas for scalable events leaving participants inspired, energized and engaged
  • Provide strategic counsel and event management assistance to internal Marketing and Communications teams to ensure that events integrate and align with UJA goals
  • Compile, analyze and present performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve
  • Create event follow-up strategies which will be integrated into fundraising and donor base building goals
  • Manage all logistics involved with UJA event planning
     

Requirements:

  • Effective project management skills and experience including managing multiple events, vendors and projects
  • Independent, self-starter who can identify opportunities and drive deliverables
  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to partner with executives and leaders and orchestrate event progress across cross-functional teams
  • Strong organization, prioritization and planning skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior leaders
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent, with a minimum of 5-7 years related experience
