We are currently recruiting for a Development Coordinator to work with Lassonde School of Engineering for this exciting contract opportunity. 

Are you a fundraising professional with at least 2 years of experience in an educational environment? Do you possess experience with fundraising, administration, workflow/event coordination and documentation drafting? Do you have good financial, organizational and project management skills? Do you possess strong customer service skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills? If so, keep reading!

In this role, you will coordinate and administer the fundraising activities for the Senior Development Officer(s). You will perform administrative, clerical and special project duties related to prospect development and coordination, proposal production, donor stewardship reports, and events.

 

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:

A Diploma in fundraising, business, humanities, marketing, logistics, planning, journalism or office administration. Equivalent education and experience includes high School Diploma with some post-secondary courses related to business, administrative studies, office administration, fundraising or two years recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at York University performing the same or similar tasks in addition to the minimum years of work experience required. In addition, the successful incumbent will possess two (2) years of work/volunteer experience including, fundraising, administration and/or workflow/event coordination experience and documentation drafting. Experience in a fundraising organization an asset. University experience an asset.
