In this role you will cultivate relationships, understand audience to advance and advocate for York University Libraries strategic vision and its capital aim to be the University’s major competitive advantage for student and faculty recruitment in the development of signature buildings that are recognized for their innovative, interdisciplinary spaces and as “centers of excellence” for libraries.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:
A university education or equivalent combination of education and fundraising experience, specifically in an educational setting. You will bring a Certified Fund-raising Executive (CFRE) designation as it is required (or demonstration that candidate qualified to complete the CFRE certification process which must be complete within 3 years of their start date). In addition, you will bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in professional fundraising, with a focus on major gifts and with significant exposure to stewardship and planned giving. University / Libraries fundraising, and major campaign experience an asset.
