Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for the systematic identification, rating, screening, research/analysis and tracking of prospective donors to the Schulich School of Business, York University (prospects typically in the range of $10K to $10 million). You will coordinate all prospect management information and processes on behalf of the Faculty and prepares materials (e.g. research memorandum, briefings, gift analysis opinion, engagement strategies, capacity opinions) to aid in the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of alumni, friends, corporations and foundations. As Lead Hand, you will coordinate the Schulich Office of Development part-time and casual staff team, including tracing program for high priority constituents related to the Development Office (i.e. donors, prospects, other VIPs). You will coordinate the accelerated prospect engagement (APE) program.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:

A University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Communications, Statistics or other related field is required or an equivalent of 4 years recent experience (defined as within the last five years) working at York University and performing the same or similar tasks. This education equivalency is in addition to the experiential requirements outlined. You will also bring 2 years’ recent directly related experience preferably in a non-profit and/or fundraising environment or in a charitable organization setting.
