Raiser’s Edge Specialist
Full Time position
Covenant House is Canada's largest agency serving at-risk, homeless and trafficked youth. Covenant House changes lives by providing the widest range of services and support to as many as 300 youth a day. A national leader, we educate and advocate for change by influencing public policy and delivering prevention and awareness programs.
We are seeking a team-oriented problem solver to provide the first level of support to users of the Raiser’s Edge database and related software. This individual will be a part of the data and database services team and will be responsible for providing consistency in usage and day-to-day support of the Raiser’s Edge to the development team.
Documentation and training will also be a key function of this position and therefore the incumbent will have excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to translate technical language into lay terms. Detail orientation, quality assurance and trouble-shooting skills are required.
He/she will be part of an internal Raiser’s Edge team that makes decisions related to the changes to field structure and/or data placement to ensure the highest data quality possible as well as the optimum use of the data and CRM.
This individual must have a minimum of 4 years in-depth hands-on Raiser’s Edge experience, a working knowledge with The Raiser’s Edge version 7.96 (Mail, Query, Export, Reports, Batch, Admin, Config) and its modules: Events, Tribute, Prospect Research, and Address Accelerator.
Have experience performing the functions in Raiser’s Edge like: Electronic File Transfer, Recurring Giving, Imports and Globally Change Records Proficient in MS Office 2013 and above Experience with Import-O-Matic and Remit.
SQL software and experience with PCI Security are assets.
