Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Media Account Manager, reporting to the Senior Director, Media and Analytics, will develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the day to day aspects of the media programs of our clients – including their budgets, campaigns, creative and response results – and become the go to person for media related questions and requests.

They possess excellent client service skills with a proven track record of dealing with people and presenting and will have the ability to report on all aspects of the media program in written or verbal form. They would be required to provide support in all areas of the media department including processing, planning, buying, analytics, traffic, reporting and invoicing. Specifically, they would be required to perform a range of duties including, but not limited to:

  • Analyze and report on campaign results
  • Liaise between clients, vendors, networks and internal departments as needed
  • Create, manage and maintain spreadsheets and reports
  • Develop presentations for internal and external purposes using Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and participate in client meetings / phone calls
  • Research and stay up-to-date on media trends for TV / Fundraising / OTT / VOD
  • Help implement new media initiatives
  • Help identify and implement ways to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the media team through Excel or technology
  • Troubleshoot / problem solve with networks, call centres, vendors
  • Provide support where needed in media department

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Excellent client service and presenting skills
  • Fundraising / Non-Profit experience
  • Highly advanced MS Office skills – in particular Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
  • Highly analytical, enjoy working with and analyzing data
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
