    Donor Care / Relations Manager, Full Time, Permanent, Toronto

The Donor Care / Relations Manager will manage a team that will support the SCC Donor Journey, through the cultivation, support and stewardship of the relationships between SCC and its donors at all levels. This will be achieved through a focus on exceptional customer service, a strong attention to detail and exceeding expectations in the areas of processing of donations, communicating with and maintaining donor information.

This position is accountable for their team delivering on all aspects of donor care relating to monthly, online and one-time gift donors, including donation processing, donor retention, donor servicing, stewardship and the outworking of the donor journey and retention strategies.

This position is also responsible to manage the internal telemarketing team and all key deliverables for that team. The manager will also contribute and support additional donor services projects as needed

        Qualifications (include but are not limited to):

  • 1-2 years of Managerial or Supervisory experience required
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding targets across multiple channels
  • Proven success in leading a team within a high performance culture
  • Excellent customer service and stewardship skills
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service team management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (French an asset)
  • Excellent computer literacy including Internet, Microsoft Office
  • Advanced experience with the Raiser’s Edge
  • Knowledge of Canadian Revenue Agency donation guidelines is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge and/or experience with child rights programming in areas of Health, Education, Child Protection, and Livelihoods an asset 
  • Demonstrates strong commitment to Save the Children’s Mission, Vision and Values
  • Must adhere to Save the Children’s Child Safeguarding policy and protocols
