In this role you will be responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of a portfolio of annual and ad hoc alumni events. You will engage the growing communities of alumni, donors, students and staff to foster and facilitate engagement and support, financially and otherwise, for the University.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring the following:
An undergraduate degree in Theatre, Business, Communications, Humanities, Marketing, Social Sciences or Visual Art. Equivalent education and experience you may bring includes college diploma in Event Management, Public Relations or Hospitality plus 1 year practical related experience or four (4) years recent, practical related experience in addition to the minimum years of work experience required. You will also bring two (2) years’ experience in the planning, coordination and implementation of events as this experience is essential. You will bring demonstrated competencies of event management. Experience in a university considered an asset. You will bring knowledge of current and future trends related to events, university policies and protocols and of fundraising professional standards and ethics.
