Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health globally, tackling prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. In our mission to stop men dying too young, we’re seeking a a new Director of Corporate Development who will be responsible for developing the fundraising strategy for the Corporate and workplace portfolio within Canada.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting into the Canadian Country Director, this role will provide leadership to a team of dynamic fundraising specialists and build a pipeline of high value prospects in the corporate sector in order to achieve growth and revenue targets. In this role you’ll oversee the delivery of the annual peer-to-peer campaign in the month of November, workplace and sector challenges, as well as all annual and multi-year corporate partnerships (sponsorships).
To be successful in this role you’ll have 7 – 10 years demonstrated experience in senior business and fundraising revenue development roles. You’ll need to have a proven track record of managing fundraising portfolios and achievement of significant revenue generation goals. Superior relationship-building and communication skills will ensure your ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. Fundamental to your success will be a demonstrated commitment to the Movember values and passion for the cause, with an understanding of and ability to represent the brand and image at all times.
