Branksome Hall’s Advancement and Community Engagement (ACE) team is growing and poised to launch the most ambitious campaign in our school’s 116-year history. We are looking for high-energy, talented individuals, who have been waiting for the right vision and opportunity to make a difference.
As a member of the Advancement and Community Engagement team and reporting to the Director, Campaign and Development, the Campaign Coordinator will provide support to the Advancement team in the areas of major, planned and annual giving, events and donor stewardship. Primarily focused on administrative tasks, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in Campaign activities and donor engagement.
The Coordinator will prepare prospect research materials such as profiles and briefing notes, materials for Campaign Cabinet and other committees, as well as support major and planned giving solicitations including proposals, gift agreements, annual giving solicitations and the development of stewardship reports. The successful candidate will also liaise with donors and prospects to schedule and coordinate development and stewardship meetings with key stakeholders. The Coordinator with be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support to assist in the planning and organization of cultivation and stewardship events as well as Raiser’s Edge data entry, gift processing, pledge tracking and reporting. The successful candidate will liaise with Campaign volunteers and provide administrative support for their campaign roles.
As the ideal candidate, you hold a degree or related college certificate, along with two years’ experience. A graduate certificate in fundraising and experience in an educational institution would be considered an asset. With a positive, can-do approach, you have excellent interpersonal, relationship building and problem-solving skills. A creative thinker with excellent communication skills, you can adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The successful candidate has strong customer service orientation and enjoys working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a goal-oriented environment. Attention to detail will come with ease to the successful candidate, who also possesses strong organizational and planning skills. The Coordinator will have excellent prospect research skills, the ability to work with highly confidential information and possesses an understanding of relevant CRA regulations. Technically savvy, the Coordinator possesses advanced knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or a similar CRM platform, Microsoft Office, and other graphic software (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.).
