As a member of the Advancement and Community Engagement team, the Associate Director, Marketing and Advancement Communications brings expertise and innovation to leading the development and implementation of comprehensive and integrated strategies that support Branksome Hall’s objectives and the complete information needs of the school community. As a seasoned, tech-savvy professional, with superior writing skills, the Associate Director collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to meet the marketing needs of the school, including branding, advertising and all communications related to the upcoming campaign.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year and integrated marketing plan for Branksome Hall;
- Marketing campaign communications programs that support Branksome Hall’s strategic objectives and the complete advancement needs of the school community;
- Promote the school’s brand by developing and implementing forward-thinking, innovative and leading-edge marketing strategies and tactics;
- Provide leadership in the area of Campaign Communications team and ensure the smooth-running and administration of the school’s advancement communications function;
- Manage and create major print and online publications for internal and external audiences, including brochures and promotional materials. This includes writing, editing, proofreading, research, collecting materials, promotion, printing management and distribution;
- Act as the marketing lead for various events and activities.
As the ideal candidate, you hold a degree in marketing, communications, public affairs, or other related field along with 5-7 years’ progressive experience with advancement communications including some management experience. You are skillful at navigating through data to uncover insights to share with stakeholders and have proven success in creating and implementing strategic advancement communications and marketing plans. With a strong sense of professional judgement and customer service orientation, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to manage multiple time sensitive complex priorities and meet deadlines effectively. You are a creative thinker, developing leading edge and innovative approaches to communications and marketing materials, using various technologies to appeal to a large range of audiences. Your strong project management skills allow you to bring a positive and can-do approach to decisions-making and problem-solving. Strong technology skills as well as proficiency in MS office applications and Google Suite complete your profile.
