GENEVA CENTRE FOR AUTISM FOUNDATION: MANAGER, GRANTS & IMPACT
Maternity Leave Contract – 12 to 18 months

Geneva Centre for Autism (GCA) is a pioneer in developing leading edge resources, programs and services that serve as models for other organizations throughout the world.  Each year the Foundation donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Centre to support over 5,000 children, youth and families in the autism community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall planning and implementation of the Foundation’s Grant Strategy and Plan to include preparing proposals, implementing on approval, impact measurement, budgeting, tracking and regularly reporting to Board and the Executive Leadership team.  In addition and in collaboration with the Manager of Events and Corporate Partnerships, this role is also responsible for designing and implementing a successful Fundraising Strategy and Stewardship Plan.  Working in tandem with the Manager of Events and Corporate Partnership, this small but mighty team will also lead the Foundation’s continued development and growth to deliver a successful Donor experience and program. 

The ideal candidate
You describe yourself as passionate about writing grants and fundraising to support the GCA’s vision of Successful Community Inclusion. Specifically, you bring a minimum of 3 years experience and demonstrated success in writing grant proposals, securing funding and writing reports for funders.  In addition, you bring experience in donor relations and impact measurement and are comfortable presenting to the Board.  You also bring an undergraduate degree or diploma in a related field.  Overall, you describe yourself as detailed oriented, results-driven individual and team player. You are very comfortable taking initiative, work well under pressure and with competing priorities.  Finally, you are highly organized and bring an overwhelming willingness to jump in and support the Foundation in achieving its goals and objectives.
