Reporting to the Director, Partnerships, you will be responsible for enabling the effectiveness and efficiency of our fundraising team, including providing support for relationships with key partners and major donors and for the administrative operations of the fundraising department, including gift processing, donor acknowledgment, records upkeep. Success looks like a spectacularly efficient fundraising team (including major gifts, with support to annual and monthly portfolios).

Overview of Position
Prospect Research & Management - 30%
Proactively identify individual, corporate and foundation prospects using publicly available information.
Conduct research utilizing internal and external sources to evaluate financial capacity, willingness to give and charitable interests.
Produce in-depth, timely, well-written, confidential snapshots and profiles to inform strategy development; prepare briefing documents for Development staff and volunteers.
Maintain and track pipeline KPIs.
Complete ad-hoc research projects to support donor development strategies.
Track all constituent relationship activity, profiles, research information and major gift account management in Salesforce.
Proposal and Reporting- 40%
In consultation with the Director of Partnerships, work closely with our teams to assess our strategic priorities in order to seek out grant opportunities that are aligned with our needs.
Prepare and develop proposals by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation methods, timetables, staff support, budgets and evaluations.
Develop and transform ideas into compelling narratives for grant proposals.
Proactively manage and adheres to all grant obligations and requirements including the creation of impact reports and final reports.
Donor Stewardship- 30%
Identify, anticipate and create unique opportunities to enhance the donor experience.
Support the execution of individualized stewardship plans for major gift, corporate and foundation donors.
Liaise with various EWB teams to collect content and impact metrics related to donor funded programs.
Manage fulfilment activities including gift agreements, pledge forms, mailings, personalized thank you letters, and tax receipts.

You enjoy interacting with all kinds of people, including volunteers, grantmakers and major donors. You are committed to excellent donor service.
2+ years of experience in a non-profit fundraising. Experience working with major donors strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent computer skills, including cloud computing programs (i.e. Google applications, Word, Excel).
Experience using nonprofit fundraising software and database management (preferably SalesForce).
Bilingualism (French/English) desirable.
