Advancement Operations Manager

As the Foundation embarks upon a 3 year growth plan, the Advancement Operations Manager will be responsible for managing ongoing operations of the Principal, Major and Planned Giving program. As the Advancement Operations Manager, the incumbent leads and integrates operational efforts in all areas that affect fundraising in support of the overall fundraising program.
As a member of the Major Gift Leadership team, the Advancement Operations Manager will lead the operational efforts that support an integrated and collaborative fundraising program. The incumbent will be responsible for managing operational intersection with team members across the organization, develop strategies for process improvement, and manage the effectiveness and integrity of team activity and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Advancement Management team to implement and evaluate new operational processes that accommodate growth and efficient fundraising activity
- Evaluate, recommend and implement changes to process that will improve operational effectiveness with the aim of continuous improvement
- Implement, oversee and evaluate systems to monitor fundraising reporting to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial projections
- Oversee systems to track and monitor activity to ensure movement of donor pipeline
- Lead operationalization process related to the Priority Project Index, including process and practice for project on-boarding and off-boarding
- Provide reporting to Vice-President Advancement for Board and Committee meetings
- Managed and facilitate ongoing review and quality control of KPI reporting
- Represent the Advancement team in inter-departmental initiatives as appropriate and recommend others for participation

Job Requirements:
- Minimum college or university degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations, fundraising or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge an asset
- Ability to effectively use MS Office suite software at an intermediate level
