Full Description

Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people in English and French. The organization provides a safe and trusted place for young people in any moment of crisis or need. Their vision is for a future where every young person in Canada will access the support they need, in the way they need it most.

For almost three decades, young people have been reaching out to Kids Help Phone for the support they need. Kids Help Phone are driven to remove and reduce barriers to access and support, and to create vital, innovative and relevant new service offerings. Kids Help Phone is in a huge growth phase after demand for their services exploded during the pandemic in helping youth cope with their mental challenges.

Kids Help Phone are looking for an Associate Director, Principle Giving to design, execute and oversee a sophisticated principal gifts pipeline with targeted strategies aimed to maximize life-time engagement and philanthropic support of gifts in the 7-figure and 8-figure range, largely from individuals and foundations. The Associate Director will manage a diverse and sophisticated portfolio of principal gift level donors and will serve as a key advisor to senior executive and leadership volunteers (including Board members), providing high level expertise, strategic direction, and facilitation in the development and implementation of principal gifts fundraising strategies.

This role may represent a great opportunity for someone to begin to assume the leading role in this arena. If you are comfortable in working with larger donors and being involved in the successful solicitation of major gifts, we would love to hear from you.
