Reporting to the Vice President, Advancement and Chief Development Officer, the Associate Vice President, Advancement and Alumni Relations is a transformational leader who advances Sheridan College’s academic mission, strategic plan, and brand identity through philanthropy. Their primary goal is to generate revenue for Sheridan College by connecting donors to its organizational purpose to fuel individual transformation through education.

The ideal candidate brings a successful track record in all areas of Advancement. Known for building deep and long-term relationships and securing major gifts, the new AVP will have demonstrated experience working with a wide range of community members such as donors, volunteers, alumni, faculty, staff, and students. The AVP will be goal-oriented and focused on deliverables that achieve the College’s ambitious objectives. In addition to being a seasoned and skilled fundraiser, the AVP is an inspiring leader and mentor.
