The National Marketing and Development team at NCC seeks a permanent, full-time Coordinator, Monthly Giving, to support strategic fundraising goals and continue the growth of the monthly giving program. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Monthly Giving and Supporter Services, this role will help coordinate, execute, and monitor all the monthly giving campaigns including face-to-face fundraising, telemarketing, direct mail, digital, and other campaigns, and steward NCC monthly donors. The successful candidate will work closely with the NCC Marketing & Development team and with external vendors for marketing and donor acquisition initiatives, to ensure quality, volume and income targets are met. The position requires a professional individual with previous experience in coordinating direct response, digital, multi-channel and/or monthly giving fundraising programs, and demonstrated experience working with data files.

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly giving campaigns’ execution: 

  1. Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Face-to-Face acquisition campaign with vendors to help meet the strategic plan targets.
  2. Work with internal stakeholders and Telemarketing vendors to support the execution of various monthly giving campaigns.
  3. Support the deployment of monthly giving Digital campaigns such as two steps lead generation campaigns.
  4. Implement any other monthly giving fundraising campaign via Outbound telephone and Direct mail.
  5. Coordinate between internal stakeholders and vendors on all data file exchanges to support campaigns’ execution.

Campaign reporting, data analysis and budget

  1. Track Monthly Giving campaign results against targets and reconcile weekly vendor reports.
  2. Build campaign post-mortems and recommend program changes as required.
  3. Contribute to the development and update of the Monthly Giving Revenue Model.
  4. Work with vendors to support donor data related processes.
  5. Participate in planning and strategy sessions for Monthly Giving campaigns, provide input on best practices and tactics.

Administration 

  1. Manage Monthly Giving collateral to ensure those are kept up to date.
  2. Prepare files and send Monthly Donor stewardship letters to the fulfillment house on a regular basis.
  3. Process vendors’ invoices and reconcile expenses monthly with financial reports.
  4. Manage the annual receipting schedule for monthly donors.
  5. Reorganize the Monthly Giving documentation library.

Monthly donor cultivation plan implementation 

  1. Implement and monitor the new monthly donor onboarding journeys.
  2. Stay current with research and fundraising trends.
  3. Review and enhance Monthly Giving processes and procedures to maintain high retention rates, assess and recommend opportunities to improve campaign processes and reduce costs.
  4. Integrate messaging from the Monthly Giving Case for Support into all activities.
  5. Support the Senior Manager, Monthly Giving and Supporter Services, with any new initiatives and projects.

Skills and Abilities

  • Commitment to the NCC’s core values and mission statement
  • University degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
  • Experience (2 years+) in developing direct response, digital, multi-channel and/or monthly giving fundraising programs
  • Well versed in digital marketing tactics and techniques, and their application to the monthly donor experience
  • Strong project and time management skills: planning, organizing, maintaining project scope and delivering things on time and on budget, with a keen attention to detail
  • Avid learner, with the ability to stay on top of the latest fundraising trends and innovative practices
  • Ability to think strategically in line with NCC’s Marketing and Development goals
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and able to effectively prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills including collaboration and consultation as part of a team
  • Demonstrated proficiency with databases, in particular Raiser’s Edge and/or Luminate Online
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets and working with data
  • Microsoft Office experience required
  • Previous experience working with third party vendors
