The Bridge Hospice (TBH) is a small rural hospice residence in Warkworth, Ontario. serving Northumberland County and greater region. They provide their services free of charge. Since 2013, when the first resident was admitted, the Bridge Hospice has been operating a home where people can go to receive compassionate care at end of life and to be treated with dignity and respect in a home-like environment.
Established in 2020 by The Bridge Hospice, The Bridge Hospice Foundation is dedicated to building the fundraising capabilities in partnership with the community to meet the future needs of The Bridge Hospice. The Foundation’s current fundraising programs include events, direct response, in memoriam, corporate and community partnerships.
The Bridge Hospice Foundation (TBHF) is seeking a dynamic, relationship focused and entrepreneurial Executive Director to advance philanthropic support and lead the operational and fiscal management of the Foundation. The Executive Director will provide leadership, counsel, and guidance in planning, fundraising, and implementing the Foundation’s strategies to achieve its goals.
With a passion for community engagement and healthcare philanthropy, the successful candidate will be a supportive and collaborative leader who recognizes the work and success of the existing volunteers and committees.
