Water First is a Canadian charity that partners with Indigenous communities across Canada to help address the water crisis through education, training, and meaningful collaboration.

We seek a Manager, Digital Fundraising, reporting to the Senior Manager, Development.

They will prioritize collaboration with other team members as they create a data-informed digital fundraising plan that dovetails with existing fundraising strategies already underway at Water First.

The role will focus on two areas:

  1. Increase the incorporation of digital platforms, emails, digital advertising, and lead generation in a comprehensive plan to raise funds for Water First.
  2. Develop a tailored plan to engage and build better relationships with key segments of supporters (monthly, mid-level and annual individual givers).

We offer:

  • A work-from-home position
  • Flexible hours
  • Generous paid vacation
  • Health benefits
  • Defined benefit pension plan

Wage: $66,400 – $81,400 per annum

  • Prioritize collaboration with the team to ensure this digital fundraising plan will leverage and

and oversee the execution of these plans
    • Develop a strategy and plan to convert new e-newsletter subscribers into donors
Develop a strategy and plan to increase the 2nd gift conversion rates of annual (“once per year”) donors to monthly giving
    • Develop a strategy to improve monthly donor retention and gift amount upgrades
  • Act as project lead on two campaigns, collaborating with the team on various facets. Track
appropriate KPIs and results, evaluating the success of the plan and reporting back to the Sr. Manager and the entire team
  • Stay abreast of trends and sector ideas that may be applicable for revenue growth or cost
    minimization
  • Support the rest of the team, where needed, on items like stewardship, events, presentations
  • Contribute to initiatives that raise awareness about our work and/or engage donors to build greater
support for the organization, in coordination with Communications and Fundraising
