The incumbent will work to develop and execute multi-channel campaigns for various programs including Mid-Level Giving, Planned Giving and Digital & Direct Marketing. Collaborating with the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing, and with internal and external stakeholders, the Manager will ensure all campaigns and projects are delivered effectively on time, on budget, and meet defined needs.

This role is responsible for the following:

Mid-Level Giving (35%)

• Manage multi-channel campaigns for the Mid-Level Giving program in collaboration with the Campaigns, Major Gifts and Planned Giving team aimed at raising $1.05 million in undesignated net revenue and retaining, upgrading and stewarding mid-level donors
• Create and monitor campaign schedules in project management platform and oversee budgets to ensure organizational fundraising goals are met
• Manage external agency and internal teams responsible for campaign development, including liaising with stakeholders, writing project brief, gathering content inputs, coordinating review and approval of artwork drafts, and overseeing production

Planned Giving (35%)

• Manage multi-channel campaigns for the Planned Giving program on behalf of the Campaigns, Major Gifts and Planned Giving team aimed at generating approximately 50 new leads (average planned gift is $35,000) and stewarding ~800 confirmed expectancies for planned gifts
• Create and monitor campaign schedules in project management platform and oversee budgets to ensure organizational fundraising goals are met
• Manage external agency and internal teams responsible for campaign development, including liaising with internal stakeholders, writing project brief, gathering content inputs, coordinating review and approval of artwork drafts, and overseeing production

Digital & Direct Marketing (30%)

• In collaboration with the Senior Manager, Integrated Direct Marketing and Director, Direct Marketing & Integration, manage integrated Direct & Digital Marketing campaign strategy
• Assist in data strategy, project planning and execution for Emergency Appeal campaigns
• Create and monitor campaign schedules in project management platform to ensure organizational fundraising goals are met

What we are looking for:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Fund Development
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fundraising, direct marketing or equivalent experience in a complex environment, preferably within charitable sector
• Ability to work independently, move projects from conceptual stages to launch, and handle multiple and often competing deadlines
• Experience with CRM/databases and project management platforms
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency using MS Office and extensive knowledge of Excel
• Demonstrated ability to produce program and project documentation, such as strategy documents, creative briefs, project plans, KPI reports
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, creative with problem-solving skills and strong analytical skills
• Ability to deal calmly with pressure and deadlines and to communicate with diplomacy in all scenarios
