SPECIALIST, CAMPAIGN SUPPORT (Full-Time, Permanent)
REPORTING TO: Vice President, Operations
LOCATION: Peel Memorial Centre for Integrated Health & Wellness, with periodic travel to Brampton Civic and Etobicoke General Hospitals – Hybrid

POSITION SUMMARY:
As Osler Foundation embarks on a historic new Capital Campaign, set to change the health care landscape in our community, this new role will be integral to the success of our Major Gifts team. The Specialist, Campaign Support will lead a strategic, analytical and proactive approach to managing the donor portfolio of the President & CEO and Sr. Vice President, Philanthropy, in addition to providing support on key activities of the Major Gifts team.
RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):
CAMPAIGN DONOR MANAGEMENT
Donor Management support to the President & CEO and Sr. Vice President, Philanthropy including:
- Manage the preparation and outcomes of prospect and donor meetings
- Track action items and status updates; lead process to frequently prompt activity for President & CEO and Sr. Vice President
- Outreach to donors to schedule meetings, obtain donation payment information, etc.
- Outreach to Osler colleagues, as relevant, to confirm logistics of work and meetings together
- Liaise with Foundation colleagues to manage timelines and follow up on proposals, reports and gift agreements
- Meeting preparation and logistics, including room booking/ virtual room booking, package preparation, meeting briefs, catering as needed
MAJOR GIFT (MG) TEAM CAMPAIGN SUPPORT
- Manage the maintenance of the Major Gift team’s donor portfolio
- MG team reporting on performance, portfolios and pipeline
- Actively participate in Major Gift team meetings, as well as MG-related events (i.e., donor stewardship, cultivation events)
- MG Team rep for RENXT data maintenance, data integrity and ensuring best practice procedures are in place
- Attends and assists at Foundation events, when needed (i.e., golf tournaments, Holi Gala)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience with managing a tracking system/process for prompting activity (your own or others)
- Organizational skills sufficient to independently establish priorities and use sound judgment in carrying out multiple assignments in a timely manner, oftentimes with minimal supervision
- Highly adaptable and able to prioritize and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of Major Gift operations and business practices
- Experience independently organizing meetings and setting priorities
- Excellent communication, organizational and administrative skills with an attention to details
- Demonstrated experience with inputting data into and seeking data from a CRM database
- Professional maturity and ability to manage confidential information and exercise good judgement
- University Degree, College Diploma or a combination of relevant experience
- 3+ years or more within a charitable/not-for-profit organization
- Experience working in diverse communities
