DWAYNE HOLNESS

A force within the marketing and video production industry for over a decade, Dwayne Holness is a seasoned entrepreneur, creative director and speaker at the forefront of helping emerging creatives to build profitable careers. He is an award-winning founder and CEO of Corex Creative – a video marketing agency specializing in corporate videos, digital strategy, and brand development. Dwayne’s innovative perspective, distinct imagery and innate understanding of diverse storytelling have landed him in the director’s chair for campaigns and productions of notable brands such as, CSA Group, The Academy, TD Bank, Rogers Communications, the LCBO and the Canadian Screen Awards. He has also travelled the world leading creative direction for the musical tours of artists, Chronixx and Lauryn Hill. 

Growing up in the rough Jane-Finch neighborhood of Toronto, Dwayne understands the stigma and barriers that Black youth face and has made it his mission to bring their talents to the world. Through his each-one-teach-one model, he has contributed over $350k to support emerging creatives of colour on their mission, through exposure, employment and mentorship opportunities. 

His ability to motivate others is recognized widely by arts institutions, school boards and corporations, where he speaks and motivates audiences to turn their visions into realities. Currently, he is a mentor at Futurpreneur Canada, Advisory Board Member for ArtWorksTO and Program Advisor for Centennial College.

EBI AGBEYEGBE

Ebi is a video creator and colorist residing in Toronto Canada. He currently works as a colour assistant at Alter Ego post in Toronto and has been there for almost a year. Ebi believes in the power of storytelling to educate people and bring forth change in the world we see around us. Ebi is a proud partner, brother, son, and father to a beautiful 6-year-old girl. He loves football (soccer) and enjoys spending his spare time watching movies. 

BETHLEHEM PAULOS

Bethlehem is a Toronto-based multi-media artist, self-taught photographer and prospective filmmaker. She is a recent recipient of the BBIC mentorship. She is currently studying video design and production.
