Why Salary Ranges Matter
Date: Wednesday, June 9, 2021
Time: 12–1:00 p.m. EST
Registration is FREE!
Join us for part one of a 3-part educational live webinar series that covers best hiring practices for our sector. The AFP-GTC recognizes that wage transparency is a critical part of reducing race and gender inequity. That’s why as of June 1, 2021, all job postings on our Job Board will include a salary range.
On Wednesday, June 9 from 12–1:00 p.m. ET, join us for a fireside chat with expert human resources and hiring professionals – Helen Mekonen and Atiya Dharamshi – who will answer some the “why” questions.
WHY: Why it is important to take these steps as a sector; why it impacts diversity and inclusion as a whole; why it is important to the larger goal of equity, anti-racism, and decreasing the wage gap (among other “why” questions).
We want to hear your questions about the “why” as well and encourage you to submit same to info@afptoronto.org ahead of the live session.
