Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people in English and French. The organization provides a safe and trusted place for young people in any moment of crisis or need. Their vision is for a future where every young person in Canada will access the support they need, in the way they need it most.

For almost three decades, young people have been reaching out to Kids Help Phone for the support they need. Kids Help Phone are driven to remove and reduce barriers to access and support, and to create vital, innovative and relevant new service offerings. Kids Help Phone is in a huge growth phase after demand for their services exploded during the pandemic in helping youth cope with their mental challenges.

Kids Help Phone are looking for a Development Officer responsible for providing research, analysis and data management support to staff and volunteers engaging in fundraising activities. The Development Officer will be responsible for the information flow to and from fundraising staff and ensure the integrity of prospect data and reports in Raiser’s Edge.

This role will be a critical position in the largest fundraising campaign of its kind for youth mental health in Canada’s history. As a member of the Advancement Department, the Officer will provide expertise in aligning research and prospect management strategies to Kids Help Phone’s strategic goals and operating plan – delivering prioritized, high quality, accurate and timely prospect research to build Kids Help Phone’s supporter base, increasing not only quantity but also the quality of the organization’s data.
