This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a brand-new Development and Community Relations department. As the Director, you will shape the strategy and culture of this department, driving transformational growth in fundraising, donor engagement, and community partnerships. You鈥檒l be a key ambassador for Lansdowne, helping to secure the resources and relationships that will sustain and expand our mission.

馃専 Key Responsibilities

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Establish and lead a new development and communications department

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop and execute multi-year fundraising and communications strategies

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead major gift cultivation, our capital campaign, and donor stewardship

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversee donor databases, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, and data-driven reporting

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Plan and execute donor and community events aligned with strategic goals

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Foster a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative team culture

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure compliance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and Imagine Canada standards

馃帗 Education, Qualifications and Certifications

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Completion of a post-secondary Degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership or equivalent education.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Canadian Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) designation preferred.

 

馃摎 Experience and Knowledge

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Minimum of three (3) years corporate or fundraising experience with an emphasis on major gifts.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Minimum of five (5) years of corporate communications and relationship-building experience.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and leading campaigns

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of CRA guidelines and ethical fundraising practices

路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proof of immunizations or willingness to obtain
