LOCATION: Vaughan, Ontario, Canada
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $65,000 – $90,000

We Care is a non-profit charity organization with a long history of commitment towards helping kids with disABILITIES realize their full potential.
Through a united effort from our community of supporters and member sponsor organizations within the food service and hospitality industry, we seek to make a difference in the lives of kids living with disABILITIES by raising funds to send them to fully accessible summer camps across Canada!
Since 1983, We Care has raised $28 million dollars, and funded almost 150,000 days at camp. We are seeking an accomplished leader and revenue generation professional who wants to advance their career as our Manager, Corporate Partnerships.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a key member of the We Care team, the Manager, Corporate Partnerships will be responsible for leading and growing key priorities. Reporting to the Executive Director, the incumbent will lead the corporate partnerships team and work collaboratively with other departments to achieve strategic partnerships and ambitious fundraising goals.
This is a new and pivotal role in designing and lifting partnership initiatives, and well-develop comprehensive fundraising strategies. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strategic mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of driving fundraising or sales success.
The incumbent is a key contributor to the organization’s strategic plan and accountable to annual and long-term financial goals. They will embody We Care’s core values of accountability, respect, collaboration and integrity.
Strategic Partnership Development
Identify, cultivate, and develop partnerships with existing and future key industry players aligned with our mission and objectives. Provide expertise, ongoing guidance, and strategic support to the membership and internal team.
Oversee and evaluate current programs while innovating partnerships to keep current with partner strategies and the changing landscape of fundraising and competitive markets.
Develop and implement engagement strategies and long-term strategic fundraising programs to cultivate a deeper and impactful partnership through strong relationship building and a diverse program of fundraising initiatives.
Employ astute and professional business acumen and data to analyze, refine, and execute resources for operational efficiencies.
Membership/Donor Stewardship/Services
Build and maintain strong relationships through integrity to stewardship principles with members and supporters. Work proactively with internal teams, board of directors, committee members, and other volunteers to build and execute stewardship and recognition programs. Leverage the marketing team and existing stewardship events and initiatives.
Leadership
Bring a positive and collaborative leadership approach to the We Care National office and across our membership, sponsors, supporters, and volunteers.
Lead a team of fundraising professionals and cross functional support to achieve organizational goals.
Identify opportunities for innovation and operational efficiencies, using strategic thinking, strong problem solving and decision-making prowess.
Celebrate and knowledge successes.
Other tasks as required.
Skills and Qualifications
• Corporate Partnerships, Fundraising Strategy or Sales Experience in Revenue Generation
• Negotiation and Leadership
• Strong Stakeholder Communications, Board experience is an asset
• CFRE is an asset
• Knowledge of generally accepted fundraising, sponsorship and cause marketing principles and practices
• Cross functional collaboration
• Membership and Stewardship experience
• Organizational process and improvements
• CRM
• Data Analysis and financial management
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university
• 5+ years of related experience in cause marketing, corporate social responsibility, Environmental Social Governance, community investment, or sales
• Demonstrate experience working with large corporate partnerships and the ability to navigate complex organizations
