Fred Victor is a social service charitable organization committed to improving the health, income, and housing stability of individuals experiencing poverty, homelessness, and mental health and substance use struggles in Toronto. Serving more than 3,000 people each day across 20 sites throughout the City, and having served numerous individuals over its 125-year history, Fred Victor ensures that the people interfacing with the organization are treated with respect and unconditional positive regard. Going a layer deeper, the organization is committed to inspiring an equitable world where resources are distributed in a manner that empowers all people to live with greater self-determination, meaning, and dignity.
With a new Strategic Plan in place and a heightened awareness in the donor community of Toronto’s and Canada’s homelessness and poverty crisis amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic, Fred Victor is poised to expand the scope and reach of its services. It is within this context that Fred Victor invites applications for the role of Manager, Corporate Partnerships, a position that will give an individual with an enterprising mindset an opportunity to bring innovative solutions to ending homelessness.
Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the Manager, Corporate Partnerships will provide support in building strategic relationships with approximately 150 existing and new corporate partners in areas including program giving, sponsorship, cause marketing, and employee engagement opportunities. As a member of the Partnership team, this individual will be invited to participate in creating and implementing a Corporate Giving program involving the creation of measurable goals and metrics to source new partnerships through research, move donors up the giving cycle, and establish multi-year pledges.
The individual most likely to realize success in the role brings demonstrated experience and success in soliciting and securing leadership gifts and strategic partnerships, preferably in a non-profit organization or in the broader public sector. As a strong oral and written communicator, the Manager, Corporate Partnerships is compelling in their messaging about Fred Victor’s mission and can captivate hearts and minds with authenticity. They are collaborative in nature but also possess the capacity for initiative seeking and independent work. A degree/diploma in a relevant field is sought (e.g., non-profit management, business administration, fundraising or philanthropic studies, communications, public relations, marketing, etc.) or the equivalent combination of education, professional certification, and professional work experience. Proficiency in fundraising CRMs, including Raiser’s Edge NXT, would be an asset.

The salary for the role of Manager, Corporate Partnerships will be approximately $60,879 to $67,216, depending on skills and experience, plus 4 weeks of vacation to start, excellent benefits, hybrid office/work from home option, opportunity for professional development, and an RRSP plan.
