Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people in English and French. The organization provides a safe and trusted place for young people in any moment of crisis or need. Their vision is for a future where every young person in Canada will access the support they need, in the way they need it most.

For almost three decades, young people have been reaching out to Kids Help Phone for the support they need. Kids Help Phone are driven to remove and reduce barriers to access and support, and to create vital, innovative and relevant new service offerings. Kids Help Phone is in a huge growth phase after demand for their services exploded during the pandemic in helping youth cope with their mental challenges.

Kids Help Phone is on a transformational journey, one that will change the landscape of youth mental health in Canada. They are looking for a Senior Development Officer, Corporate Partnerships (SDO) to solicit and secures major gifts within Corporate Canada at the $50,000 to $1 million+ level. This will contribute to the ambitious goals of Kids Help Phone that supports their current counselling services, innovation, and a range of projects to advance the mission of serving youth mental health in Canada.

Responsibilities within this role include proactively managing a pipeline of up 80+ prospective donors in all stages of the development cycle. Working closely with senior volunteers, and colleagues across the organization, the SDO will develop and implement prospecting, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies that allow prospective partners to impact the cause of youth mental health with Kids Help Phone/ Jeunesse J’ecoute.

Candidates of interest will have strong communication skills and confidence in developing partnerships. You will also have previous experience of working in the corporate or philanthropic world. If you have experience in cultivating corporate donations, and partnerships or working in major gifts, we would love to hear from you.
