Fred Victor is a social service charitable organization committed to improving the health, income, and housing stability of individuals experiencing poverty, homelessness, and mental health and substance use struggles in Toronto. Serving more than 3,000 people each day across 20 sites throughout the City, and having served numerous individuals over its 125-year history, Fred Victor ensures that the people interfacing with the organization are treated with respect and unconditional positive regard. With a new Strategic Plan in place and a heightened awareness in the donor community of Toronto’s and Canada’s homelessness and poverty crisis amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic, Fred Victor is poised to expand the scope and reach of its services. It is within this context that Fred Victor invites applications for the role of Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships, a position that will give an individual with an enterprising mindset an opportunity to make an indelible impact on ending homelessness.
Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, the Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships is responsible for building meaningful, strategic relationships with existing and new corporate partners in areas including program giving, sponsorship, cause marketing, and employee engagement opportunities. This individual will be invited to provide expertise on the design and implementation of a corporate partnership strategy to senior leadership and key external partners, including VPs and Directors, committees and Board Members, and senior corporate leaders. As a key member of the Major Gifts team, they will steward and cultivate existing corporate donors and sponsors and source new partnerships through research, collaboration, cultivation, and strong and compelling communication.
The individual most likely to realize success in the role brings experience and demonstrated success in securing multi-year partnerships in a non-profit organization or Corporate Social Responsibility role. The Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships must be goal-oriented, resourceful, data-driven, and entrepreneurial in spirit. They inspire relational ease and confidence in face-to-face meetings, work with volunteers, and gifts solicitation. As a strong oral and written communicator, they are compelling in their messaging about Fred Victor’s mission and can captivate hearts and minds with authenticity. They are collaborative in nature but also possess the capacity for initiative seeking and independent work. A degree/diploma in a relevant field is sought (e.g., non-profit management, business administration, fundraising or philanthropic studies, communications, public relations, marketing, etc.) along with several progressive years of demonstrated experience soliciting and securing leadership gifts and strategic partnerships, or the equivalent combination of education, professional certification, and professional work experience.

The salary for the role of Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships will be approximately $67,528.50 to $77,571.00, plus benefits package, depending on skills and experience.
