    • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative, impactful ideas.
  • Public Relations & Outreach Support
    • Assist with pitching stories, coordinating media interviews and supporting Foundation visibility.
  • Research & Collaboration

  • Speaking remarks
    • Draft speaking remarks to support various Foundation events, maintaining consistent key messages to support the brand

Collaboration

    • Work closely with Philanthropy, Stewardship, Community Development, and MarCom teams to meet diverse writing needs and maintain brand consistency.
  • Resource Management
    • Help maintain templates, messaging documents, and project libraries.
  • Proactive Support
    • Take initiative to identify opportunities to contribute and assist with overflow writing needs across the Foundation.

    • Ability to craft compelling, clear, and persuasive content for various audiences and channels.
  • Adaptability
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Collaboration

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of writing experience (internships or volunteer work welcome), preferably in non-profit or healthcare.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to write for multiple formats (web, print, social media, email, donor communications)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Canva, digital platforms and social media is an asset.
