Role Summary

The Development and Administrative Coordinator strengthens NanKind’s mission by ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations and providing accurate, timely, and strategic d support to the fundraising team. This role is central to maintaining high-quality donor information, supporting stewardship activities, and enabling the organization to make informed, data-driven decisions that advance revenue growth and family impact.

Administrative Operations

  • Coordinate scheduling, meeting logistics, agendas, and minute-taking for internal and external meetings.
  • Manage organizational correspondence, digital filing systems, and general office administration.
  • Support leadership with document preparation, presentations, and follow-up tracking.
  • Assist with vendor coordination, supply management, and operational workflows.
  • Provide administrative support for programs, events, and cross-departmental initiatives.

Fundraising & Donor Data Support

  • Enter, update, and maintain donor, gift, and prospect information in NanKind’s CRM (Donor Perfect) with exceptional accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generate acknowledgment letters, tax receipts, and stewardship communications in alignment with fundraising timelines.
  • Prepare donor lists, campaign reports, and data exports to support appeals, grant applications, and board reporting.
  • Assist with segmentation for direct mail, email campaigns, and targeted donor outreach.
  • Track event registrations, guest lists, and post-event reconciliation to ensure complete and accurate data capture.
  • Monitor data quality, identify inconsistencies, and support the implementation of data hygiene best practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably within a nonprofit or fundraising environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning new digital tools.
  • Experience with a donor database/CRM is an asset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
