This role involves remote/work from home with a requirement for a minimum of two (2) days per week working onsite and may be subject to change as the organization works through its hybrid workforce plan and/or changing needs of the Foundation. The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and one of the world’s leading research centres in its field. With a dedicated staff of more than 3,200 physicians, clinicians, researchers, educators and support staff, CAMH offers outstanding clinical care to more than 40,000 patients each year. CAMH Foundation is charged with raising and stewarding funds in support of CAMH. Its role is to help transform the way we understand and address mental illness by raising awareness and increasing engagement across the country. The Corporate & Community Partnerships team is responsible for engaging corporate Canada and community groups in meaningful ways that result in long-term and sustainable partnerships that help CAMH Foundation reach its fundraising, awareness, and impact goals. THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Manager, Partner Engagement & Activation will be a key member of the Corporate & Community Partnerships team and support the implementation of an integrated partnerships strategy that meets annual revenue targets. The Manager will engage partners to provide a best-in-class donor journey, execute on partnership deliverables, grow engagement, provide custom stewardship and identify ways to grow their support. The Manager will work closely with donor managers and cross-functionally with colleagues across philanthropy, stewardship, marketing and donor engagement, finance, operations, and hospital teams to ensure a successful donor experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Focused on activating and growing corporate and community partnerships, the Manager will implement and execute on an integrated plan to meet annual revenue requirements, deepen donor engagement and grow support by strategically aligning partner priorities with those of CAMH and CAMH Foundation.
- Establish and implement cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies to maximize corporate donations and sponsorship revenue.
- Manage partner events, engagements and sponsor activations, working closely with donor managers and other fundraising and marketing colleagues.
- Work closely with the Coordinator, Corporate & Community Partnerships to liaise with hospital teams to organize employee engagement initiatives such as education and volunteer opportunities.
- Work cross functionally with other fundraising and support teams to identify and integrate corporate and community partnerships strategy into fundraising tactics, campaigns and institutional priorities.
- Manage the execution of timely engagement, stewardship and reporting deliverables for partners including recognition and impact measurement, ensuring all obligations are fulfilled in a timely fashion in collaboration with Marketing & Donor Engagement, Donor Recognition, Stewardship, and Impact Communications colleagues.
- Consult on the development of compelling custom proposals for partners to grow engagement and support.
- Work closely with donor managers to curate and deliver personalized stewardship and engagement plans for key donors.
- Work closely with the Coordinator, Corporate & Community Partnerships and donor managers to ensure activation schedules and partner records are accurately maintained in Raiser’s Edge database in a timely manner.
- Oversee distribution of communications, invitations, CAMH News and newsletters to all corporate and community partners in collaboration with the Coordinator, Corporate & Community Partnerships.
- Manage and track budgets related to partner engagement and activation.
- Represent CAMH as an ambassador with corporate Canada and the community at events and engagements as needed.
- Become a subject matter expert on activities happening across the Foundation and hospital to integrate into engagement and activation plans.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as an ambassador throughout the community, positively representing CAMH and CAMH Foundation.

- Maintain donor and CAMH Foundation confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned in order to meet the overall goals and objectives of the Foundation.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM
- The qualifications for this role are a university degree in business administration, marketing, or other relevant fields with three or more years of job-related experience in sales, sponsorship, marketing, business development, fundraising, or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated experience.
- Exceptional relationship management skills, with a strong focus on timely follow-up, attention to detail, and brand alignment.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal and organizational acuity.
- Demonstrates tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Experience working in complex matrixed structures.
- Strategic minded with operational excellence.
- Experience using Raiser’s Edge database and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Proven track record of success in account and project management.

Salary Range: $90,176.50 to $103,968.20 annually
